Unfortunately, it was closed due to the recent storm damage. Still, the staff allowed us to buy honey, and we walked through the gallery, which was very educational - well done!
The 3 different types of honey yummy!

This government-run honey center specializes in processing and repacking honey sourced from across Sabah. The quality of their honey is excellent—pure and unadulterated. The prices are reasonable and offer good value for quality honey.

Bee is always interesting. Don't forget to drop by to learn about the bees colony & honey tasting session. It's a cheap bargain for the honey sold there too. Great knowledge by the guide. Love this place.

We paid rm3 and didn't expect a 5 star treatment from the staff. We got a personal guide who explained everything about bees and their behaviour. We even got to taste fresh honey right from the hive! Worth it!

We came here a few days ago (early April 2024) after our trip to the Tip of Borneo. Upon arrival, the ticket counter was empty. We can see the (foreigner) adult price is MYR 20. I can't remember the price for (foreigner) children, but the ticket price for Malaysians is a lot cheaper. We just went inside as there's no one around and we can see some posters, photos and bee-related displays available, including a production room (which I suspect) where they prosess & pack their honey. We can see the machine and someone inside the room through the glass window, but he was busy working and completely ignored us when we tried to get his attention.
I then went straight to the souvenir shop, where I met the second person in the premises. The shop sells 3 different types of honey (wild, stingers and stingless), some other bee-related products, and souvenirs from Borneo. The shop keeper said the stingless honey is the best followed by wild honey then stingers honey. He also explained that the establishment is owned and ran by the government. The area itself is quite big based on the map displayed at the front, and we can see their garden across the parking area. Overall, this honeybee farm seems to be exhausted and not much maintenance going on but still quite a nice place to visit if you are in the area and have time to kill.
We did buy one bottle of wild honey as we already bought stingless honey at another bee farm (locally owned) a few kilometres away called DMA Gombizau Honey Bee Farm.
