好几年前已经到过槟城COEX Hin Bus Depot，那时候就好喜欢这个古建筑展览中心的环境，而且不时举办各种相关讲座分享和展览。
现已在槟城待了一年四个月，很高兴自己参与第一次艺术活动的地方就在这里，真是美妙的体验。
除了画面作品展出，这里还办了即兴儿童行动表演艺术，真是喜出望外。

第一次来COEX @kilan besi是因为台湾五感3.0 槟城活动，有邀请到台湾和本地的旅游KOL分享,这里的环境很chill, 和hin bus depot (隔壁）的vibes很接近，如果想要一个很悠闲的下午，庸懒的在这里呆几个小时是不错的选择

This place is a hidden space behind the main area of hin bus depot. It's a quieter space to explore and rest with a few shops cafe and bookstore.

Just under a minute's walk from Hin Bus Depot, the space housed an architectural firm while also serving as a creative venue to host a series of art and cultural community events.

I recently attended a few interesting events.

On October 2nd, 2022, it was the screening of the award-winning, 3-hour long documentary "Lost Course" and a dialogue with the director, Jill Li, herself. The audience were seated on theatre-style raised wooden platforms made from salvaged timber. There was also a book and magazine pop-up on the same day. One can see the special wooden bookcases, designed to be modular and portable and can be reused in many different configurations.

The UAH Music Festival 2022 on the 16th of September featured 25 artists/bands. The World Stage was situated here at COEX.

Heard many things about it, but first time being here, because scheduled to give a sharing session.
When I arrived, I looked up and saw all the high-rise around it. COEX and Hin Bus Depot are like at add in the middle of Georgetown city. An Oasis.

This place could have been another high-rise if the temptation of money was stronger than the will. But instead it has turned into a creative community space. I like what I saw here : flea market with lots of handmade crafts, book stores, unique cafes, event space for talks and exhibition. I saw people from different races chill and hang out here. I hope the local municipal sees the potential of such community spaces and actively support them. Because that's what make one city stand out from another.

As both a participant in 2 music/comedy shows and as an audience member for another show, I love this small stadium-like A/C inside ampi-theater for its intimacy for up to 60 people easily reached for interactive events. Great acoustics, a small but adequate back stage area for participants, 4 excellent wireless mics, and ample room for amps and amplified music paraphernalia, and wonderful support by KJ, the person in charge.
