Kampua RM7 big portions above average delicious. Mee soup also typical tasty RM7 too big bowl very full for medium size guy. Fried rice kosong with sunny side up egg (do not want pork and no photo) RM8 very delicious according from my friend eating it.

a friend introduced this place to us because of the low low price it ranged. my partner and i love kampua so we've decided to try!

it was already 1:30 so we called them to make sure its still available. grateful that they waited for us (i think).

arrived at the restaurant, the young man took our order and the food arrived pretty quickly. we ordered the red (fermented wine stuff) kampua, white kampua, and a wonton soup. the taste is decent, i mean it's very cheap so didn't expect much. not bad actually!

unfortunately things didn't go well for us 💀 after my partner had eaten half of his white kampua, he passed to me for my portion. after consumed some, i noted WHITE STUFF ON ONE OF THE CHAR SIEW 🤢😭 i was hoping that its the undissolved MSG seasonings. but when i tried to rub it with my chopsticks then my fingers..... i knew its not seasonings.

my partner called one of the shop staff (because the noodle boss went out for awhile) and asked her what was that, she quickly said "i think it's fly eggs". she went on to call another adult (her dad) over to check from another table and yes, the older adult immediately confirmed its fly eggs.

we stayed calm and the older adult asked us to wait for the boss to come back. after awhile, he came back and the adults from the other tables were really nice they called the boss to informed him about our food. the boss just took away our plate (with the fly eggs) and didn't actually speak a word.

i hoped he didn't try to prepare another plate for us (yeah in the end he didn't). after we finished the rest (which we also hope there is no fly eggs but what the hell, we defo can't see anything from the red fermented stuff and a wonton soup 😀), we wanted to pay for our food. the boss was waiting for us to finish behind us, then told us the meal is free, and he kept apologising and apologising with a smile.

hmm what's the conclusion? i might not go back anymore because of the hygiene issue, i warned the friend who introduced us too. but my partner thought the boss was nice and honestly the taste is not bad. however i personally wouldn't go back anymore 🥹💀
