I have a bad experience using the KONE lift in a new condo that developed by Ideal Property. The quality of the lifts given are so bad and we had hard time dealing with it for years until we have no choice but to sign up the comprehensive plan.

The lift buttons given are in a very poor quality. Out of the 30 buttons in a lift panel, more than half of them are malfunctioned in 6-8 months and the same happened to the overall 4 lifts. Worst of all, the cost to replace each button is RM 480 each! There is no warranty for buttons. The total bill to just repair the button itself is easily cost more than Rm 20k. (15buttons * RM480) * 4 lifts

Our nightmare comes when 1 of the lift motor break down just right after 3 years when the warranty had expired. We were told that the lift motor is beyond repair and the cost to fix that is more than Rm 100k. I was told by the management that KONE had discounted the repair cost to around Rm 50k.

As a resident , this is ridiculous for us to spend so much to repair the lifts that is used less than 3 years. KONE, Where is the lift's quality? Where is the Quality Assurance Test?

I hope this feedback would improve the quality of your lift. And i hope that the Ideal Property Penang would be mindful to choose a better lift company so that we don't have to let other residents suffering the same situation

Elevators' "Close" and "Open" door buttons are slow/unresponsive. Besides, the noise level of the fans aren't pleasant. Finally, it would be best if there is a "ding" bell sound of an elevator arriving/arrived on the floor.
