ATM machines always out of order. Most of the time, one out of five is working only. If you want to withdraw money, good luck. You may end up at counter service, which takes longer time. A PBB staff will stand next to the queuing machine, who will then assign a “written” number to you depend on what service you want. Then the staff will shout the “written” number accordingly, then print out another queue number from queuing machine and you need to wait for your turn. Double waiting time. I have bad experiences with PBB. I just replaced my debit card and was told to use the card after two hours. Two days later I head to public bank to withdraw money. ATM showed I keyed in wrong number for three times and eventually block the newly replaced card. I am very sure I have key in the correct PIN (exactly the same number I key during card activation). I went to the counter again, the staff said I key in wrong PIN, asked me to replace a new card because the card can not be used anymore. Hello? I am not that forgetful, I remember the PIN ! I called their branch the staff said he could not unblock the card because I key in the wrong PIN. He claimed it was my fault because only I encounter this issue so far, it is not the system problem. What I can do to solve the problem is to replace a new card. It is very frustrating because I have to pay another RM 12 to replace the card, and I refuse to do so. PBB can not unblock the card. I am extremely disappointed with the PBB. They are not helpful. I would not recommend anyone to use PBB. Will consider to terminate the bank account.
